This policy describes the information involved when you browse this site, play an embedded video, send a message through its Contact form, write directly, or follow an external link.

Scope and who this policy describes
This policy applies to the Anne Newgarden website. References to “we,” “us,” or “the site” mean the people who operate this website on Anne’s behalf. It does not govern a bookseller, practitioner, video provider, event organizer, social platform, or other independent site reached through an external link or embedded player.
The site is primarily a static publication. It has no visitor accounts, comments, newsletter signup, content-management system, or application database for Contact messages.
Information you choose to send
The Contact form asks for a topic, your name, reply email, message, and confirmation that the information may be used to deliver and respond to your note. A generated request identifier supports duplicate-delivery protection if that same submission is retried, and a hidden anti-bot field helps screen automated traffic.
The Contact page also provides public email addresses. If you use direct email, your provider and the receiving mailbox provider process the message rather than the web form.
Please do not send passwords, account numbers, medical records, government identifiers, financial information, or other sensitive or confidential material.
How and why information is used
Information may be used to:
- route, deliver, read, and reply to a message;
- keep a limited record of correspondence and follow-up;
- protect the form and hosting service from misuse;
- diagnose delivery or security problems; and
- meet applicable legal obligations.
Where a law requires a legal basis, the form checkbox records your consent to use the submitted information for delivery and reply. Processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request, pursue legitimate interests in communicating and protecting the service, or meet a legal obligation. The checkbox is not consent to advertising or a mailing list.
Technical information and tracking
Vercel and related security infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser and device data, requested URL, timestamps, function status, and security signals to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
The site code does not include first-party analytics, behavioral advertising, advertising pixels, or visitor account/session storage. It does not intentionally create account-session cookies. Hosting and security providers may still use technical mechanisms or records needed to operate and protect their services.
Because the site code does not perform behavioral advertising or cross-site profiling, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not currently change its application behavior. External destinations may have their own tracking and browser-signal practices.
Service providers and disclosures
The Soul Salon video uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player. The player connects to YouTube only after you select Play. Once loaded, YouTube receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details and processes playback activity under its own privacy policy.
The Contact form is hosted and executed through Vercel. Valid form submissions are delivered through Resend to a designated mailbox. Vercel, Resend, and the receiving email providers process the information needed for those functions under their own contractual, privacy, security, and legal obligations.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the site and its users, investigate misuse, respond to a lawful request, or obtain professional advice. The published site is not configured to sell Contact messages, use them to build advertising profiles, or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Storage, retention, and international processing
The application does not save form submissions to a separate Contact database. Copies and metadata may remain in Resend, Vercel, security records, and recipient mailboxes according to account settings, operational needs, provider policies, and applicable law. Delivered correspondence may be retained while reasonably useful for reply, follow-up, recordkeeping, security, or legal purposes. No single retention period applies to every copy.
These providers and their subprocessors may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Their published privacy terms, the settings of the relevant service accounts, and applicable law govern that processing. You may use the Contact page to ask for available information about the providers involved in a form submission.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, or to withdraw consent and complain to a privacy regulator. These rights are not identical everywhere and may be subject to exceptions.
Use the Contact page to make a privacy request. Use the same email address involved in the correspondence where practical. We may need to verify identity and clarify scope before acting. Provider retention, security records, legal obligations, and information needed to document a completed request may limit what can be removed immediately.
Children and security
The site does not ask visitors to provide their age. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Contact form, please use the Contact page so the situation can be reviewed.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to limit unnecessary collection and protect message delivery, but no website, network, provider, or mailbox can guarantee absolute security.
External links and policy changes
Booksellers, practitioners, media sites, social platforms, video providers, and other linked destinations apply their own terms and privacy policies. Review those policies before providing information or completing a transaction there.
When you follow an external link, your browser sends ordinary request information to that destination, such as your IP address, browser details, and the destination URL. The site’s referrer policy limits cross-site referrer information to the site origin where supported, but the destination controls its own subsequent collection and use.
This page may be revised when the site, Contact flow, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current published version. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the revised practices take effect where practicable.
